South Molton outreach gains sponsorship
Eaton Limited has become the main corporate sponsors for the South Molton Citizens Advice Outreach following a successful application for support.
Eaton is a global technology leader in power management solutions that make electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power operate more efficiently, reliably, safely and sustainably. The company, who have a presence in the town of South Molton, are passionate about supporting their community and the £3,785.77 awarded will support the Citizens Advice service in the town throughout 2016.
On Tuesday 08 December, Vicki Rowe (CEO of Torridge, North, Mid and West Devon Citizens Advice) and Georgia Ainsworth (Comms & Development) visited Eaton’s site to accept the money on behalf of the South Molton office.
Vicki was pleased with the result and grateful for the opportunity to share the Charity's work with the company’s employees: “We really appreciate the support you have shown our charity which will enable us to continue to provide the residents of South Molton and the surrounding areas with free, independent, confidential and impartial advice from the Amory Centre on Thursdays”.
After approaching Eaton in April 2014, TNMWD Citizens Advice was encouraged to write an application to Eaton's head office in America. Thanks to the Charity and Community Committee at Eaton in South Molton, they were supported through the process to ensure they were awarded the money to contribute towards our work.
Thank you to all those involved.
